Every day is something new...

It's amazing the things that children see you do and try to imitate. This morning, Kade brought me a tube of caulk that he had found somewhere (we've been redoing our kitchen) and handed it to me, while pretending to brush his teeth. So, we went to the bathroom to brush his teeth. While we were there, he handed me his wash cloth off of the side of the tub and pointed toward the sink. So, I washed his face. Then, we went in the kitchen and he pointed at a tube of Carmex and rubbed his finger on his lips. Can't have dry, cracked lips can we?

A little later, we went to Wal-Mart to grab a few things. I brought the bags in, set them down, and put up the milk. I was fixing lunch at the kitchen counter and turned around to see Kade taking everything else out of the bags--soap, baggies, and fruit. Then, he wadded up the three plastic bags, opened the hall closet door (where I keep plastic grocery bags) and stuffed them in. I just stood there with my chin on the ground. I can't believe he noticed me doing that and did it himself! Amazing!
