About a month ago, we went on our first family vacation to Disneyworld.  Our expectations were kind of low, considering Kade was only 20 months old and that he doesn't really watch Mickey Mouse or any of the other classic Disney characters at home. However, he LOVED it! This video is just one example. I have a few more pictures on this blog entry and this one. He loved riding Dumbo and he clapped during the whole Country Bear Jamboree. He explored Tom Sawyer's island and met Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, and Donald. We swam and saw gigantic Toy Story statues. We ate breakfast with Pooh and all his friends. After an initial scare at the fireworks, he enjoyed every light show we went to! Our last night there, as we sat directly in front of Cinderella's castle, watching the fireworks, I wanted to cry.  It had been the perfect vacation, just the three of us spending a whole week together. We don't get a whole lot of family time, so our time together is very precious. We can't wait to do it again!
